Parking Enforcement and Fines

You may pay a parking ticket by cash, check, or money order. You can mail your payment or make payment at the Motor Vehicle Parking Division, located at 44 E. Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60507, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please write your ticket number or license plate number on the check or money order. Please be advised that payment must be received or post-marked by the due date or hearing date, to avoid further penalties. Hours of Enforcement
On-street parking is enforced 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. City-owned parking lots are enforced 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Free Parking
Parking is free on the following holidays:

- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- City Sponsored Special Events
Overnight Parking
Parking is prohibited on all streets in the central business district between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
