Chief Keith Cross began his career with the Aurora Police in April 1994 after a short stint with the Milwaukee Police Department. In Aurora, he’s worked in Patrol, Community Policing, Special Operations, Field Training, Central Services, and is a former School Resource Officer.

Public Information and Media

APD's Office of Public Information is responsible for communicating with the citizens of Aurora to provide timely and accurate information to the public about the police department and things happening in our neighborhoods through social media, traditional media, and public events to better inform, interact, and connect with our community as a whole.
