Curfew Laws

The curfew hours and ages in the City of Aurora are as follows:

Ages 15 and Under

  • Sunday - Saturday
    10 p.m.

Ages 16 and 17

  • Sunday through Thursday
    11 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday
    Midnight

City of Aurora Code of Ordinances Section 29-20

When a juvenile violates curfew, he/she will be arrested, photographed and fingerprinted. The guardian/parent will be called to pick up the minor. They also may have to appear in local court. There are exceptions in this ordinance to allow for work, school activities and church events. Further charges against the parent or guardian are also possible.
