The Aurora Fire Department is responsible for fire suppression and Emergency Medical Services. Specialty teams including dive rescue, technical rescue, fire investigation, and hazardous material, car seat, and juvenile fire intervention, teams.

A broad range of other services are also offered through our Fire Prevention and, Emergency Management divisions. These 2 divisions have a multitude of specialized responsibility to the citizens and visitors of the City of Aurora.
