The Aurora Fire Department will be accepting applications and opening testing to establish a new Fire Private eligibility list.

Schedule and take the FireTEAMS exam. The exam must be completed and submitted by 11:59 PM CST on January 30, 2026. Visit the National Testing Network to register, pay, and schedule your exam.
*There is a non-refundable base fee of $65 for the exam and an additional cost for each department where you indicate you want to apply. Payments are made electronically using a credit card. Click the link(PDF, 1MB) for guidance on creating your National Testing Networking account and registering for the exam.
*An option will be available to select the Aurora Police Department as a testing location to take the written Fire exam in-person on select days.
