'Fill the Boot' Drive

The Aurora Fire Department is once again partnering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) for the annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign. Over the course of three days, firefighters will be out in the community collecting donations to help support children and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases.

For decades, firefighters across the country have supported MDA through the Fill the Boot initiative. Every dollar collected helps provide critical funding for medical research, support services, and summer camps that allow individuals living with neuromuscular diseases to experience greater independence and quality of life.

Aurora firefighters will be posted at locations throughout the city with boots in hand, inviting residents to stop by and contribute what they can. Whether it’s spare change or a larger gift, every donation brings hope to families affected by these diseases.
